Storytelling with the handpan

Bright Hawk, a natural storyteller, tells stories in a way that captivates and entertains the adventurous spirit in all of us. The truly impressive piece though is when she does it while playing the handpan. No one does it like this amazing storyteller. Although she sometimes tells other peoples stories, Bright Hawk has several of her own original stories and hours filled of stories about traveling around the world. All of her original stories and traveling stories are combined with music to provide an uplifting musical storytelling experience.

Bright Hawk offers a variety of storytelling including travel stories that are fun for adults and families with young adults. Bright Hawk can inspire and connect community through her stories. She is often said to be one of the best storytellers and now with her handpan music to accompany many of her stories. Her most well known story, “The Dancing Happy Hippo” is perfect for families with mixed ages of children. Parents typically enjoy the music that accompanies the story and children love the addition of a character at Storytime. Now her newest creation, a video for children to watch the “Dancing Happy Hippo”, can be downloaded HERE. This download is great for 1yo to all ages open to watching it. Childlike theme with attention to inclusive language for all children. (transgender children considered when making this film)
